Training Requests

Under VSEC’s Service Level Agreement (SLA) with Hyatt, properties may request training for Milestone Video Management System (VMS).  When performed remotely, there is no additional charge to the property.  Generally, training requests require 7 business days notice but may be available sooner.  Should a property request on-site training, this is available but may require additional notice and will include additional charges.  There are several standardized subjects for training.  Some common subjects include:

  1. Basic User Training (30-45 min) –  This training provides instruction on the day-to-day use of the Milestone SmartClient for viewing live/recorded cameras.
  2. Supervisor Training (30-45 min) – This session builds on from the Basic User and includes setup of screens and advanced playback/search of recordings.
  3. Manager Training (30-45 min) – This is a standalone session for combining elements of Basic User and Supervisor Training for Department Managers viewing selected cameras in their area of responsibility.
  4. Administrator Training (45-60 min) – Advanced interaction with the SmartClient for searching and Exporting Video.  Includes basic user administration.

Other subjects are available and may be customized to a property’s needs and system configurations.  Check with VSEC to coordinate special training needs.
